Monitor - Protect - Control
The Termite Meter is a self-contained monitoring system that is patented and made in the U.S.A. This is virtually the only subterranean termite monitor on the market that once you purchase, you own it! It also comes with Lifetime Warranty on all molded polypropylene components.
Termite Meter stations can be placed at any location you feel needs to be monitored.
Monitor - Protect - Control
One of the most effective systems in our arsenal is the combined use of the Termite Meter with Isopthor Bait. Using these systems together provides the opportunity to locate subterranean termites and to control them. Isopthor is known for providing an effective poison within a subterranean termite colony undetected, so it kills more efficiently.
Monitor - Protect - Control
Premise Granules, when added to the Termite Meter and Isopthor Bait, provides an additional barrier around your structure that will be completely undetected by subterranean termites. Foraging subterranean termites will pass through the Premise Granules treated soil as well as feed on the Isopthor Bait without alerting the colony to a deadly threat. Premise Granules are easily applied with the shaker top container it comes in. While you monitor with the Termite Meter stations.
Physical barriers that provide termite control are fairly new, but have been proven to be effective. Products such as flashing, pipe collars and even various formulations of gravel backfill, offer complete non-chemical forms of subterranean termite protection, providing wood separation from the soil.
Cleaning your crawlspace of discarded boards, wood scraps and other cellulose material, removes a food source for subterranean termites. Thorough cleaning of these areas will help provide food-free environment that is not appealing or conducive for a termite habitat.
Integrated Termite Management (ITM) is a balanced, tactical approach to subterranean termite control.
ITM often combines several control tactics, including biological control, cultural practices, mechanical controls, monitoring of termite population and damage, and careful use of chemical and
biological pesticides.
One of the control methods is installing the Termite Meter and employing a Bait and Granulate program.
The goal of ITM is to achieve economical and effective termite control with a lower risk to the public and the environment.
